Innovation & Design Engineering (IDE) is a privately owned, independent company that was founded in 2004 with a specific focus on providing safety analysis and safety case development services. Our areas of expertise encompass highly regulated industries, including Defence, Nuclear, and Aerospace.

As technology continues to advance and systems become increasingly complex, IDE has recognised the imperative need for a holistic approach to safety. Consequently, we have expanded our portfolio to include systems engineering as an integral specialty. Our overarching objective is to introduce a systems thinking perspective into safety management, augmenting the conventional failure model. This strategic evolution allows us to effectively address the intricate risks associated with contemporary complex systems and interconnected systems of systems.

Over the years, IDE has cultivated exceptional teams of experts dedicated to project execution within the defense sector. Our extensive network of specialist safety and systems engineers has positioned IDE uniquely in the industry.
